The Atlantic Center of Aesthetic & Reconstructive Surgery is a center of excellence for pediatric plastic surgery, reconstructive plastic surgery, and cosmetic surgery. Our central location is moments from the immaculate Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with four additional offices throughout Broward County.
Our surgeons are classically trained plastic and oral maxillofacial surgeons from esteemed institutions. We are dedicated to providing cutting-edge care to restore form and function with beautiful, natural-looking results. All of our doctors are researchers, teachers, and educators.
Our practice is affiliated with the Cleveland Clinic Florida, Nova Southeastern University, and Barry University. Our doctors participate in research to advance our specialty and to ensure you receive the most current, up-to-date, and exceptional surgical results in a safe, comfortable, and friendly environment.
We are a bilingual medical office, and we welcome Spanish-speaking patients. Lara Hoffman, PA-C
Lara Hoffman grew up near New York City and graduated from Stern College in 2004 with a bachelor of arts in biology. She then attended Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, where she earned both a bachelor of science in biology and a master’s degree in physician assistant studies. Lara has a great passion for working with pediatric patients.
She provides pre- and post-operative care for pediatric patients with face and skull deformities. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Lara diagnoses and treats pediatric, congenital and acquired conditions. Moreover, she also assists Dr. Stelnicki in the operating room.
Carli Wells, PA-C
A native of Tallahassee, Florida, Carli Wells completed her undergraduate studies in exercise physiology and psychology at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. She then earned a master of clinical medical science from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida and certification as a physician assistant from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Aside from her ability to diagnose and treat pediatric, congenital and acquired conditions, Carli also assists Dr. Stelnicki in the operating room. She works in medical, cosmetic, surgical, and pediatric dermatology as well as urgent care.
During her time at Barry University, Carli had a leading role in establishing Barry's physician assistant program in the United States Virgin Islands, where there is great need for mid-level practitioners. She currently serves as adjunct clinical faculty for Barry University as a preceptor to PA students.
