Led by Dr. Stelnicki and his team, the children’s charity CHARM – or Children’s Health and Rehabilitative Missions (CHARM) – is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing hope to children around the world. This amazing feat is being accomplished by joining medical, nursing, and other healthcare professionals together to perform life-saving surgical procedures and medical treatment to impoverished children who would never receive the necessary care.
The CHARM Mission:
The charity was developed in response to the desperate, overwhelming need for medical and surgical care for children in developing and third world countries.
Dr. Stelnicki and with his wife Melissa were contacted by government officials to bring his expertise to the people of Guyana, where there is a desperate need for children’s plastic and reconstructive surgery. CHARM brings medical, nursing, and allied health professionals together to perform medical missions both locally and abroad to impoverished children in need of vital surgical and medical care. CHARM also exists to educate and train professionals in other regions to care for their own people to the best of their ability, and provide a continuum of care to patients post operatively.
Volunteering:
CHARM brings medical, nursing, and allied health professionals together to perform medical missions both locally and abroad for impoverished children in need of vital surgical and medical care.
