Your best friend calls you and is so excited she can hardly get the news out to you. No, she’s not pregnant. She’s already done that (twice), and has two beautiful children to show for it. The reason for her excitement is she just came back from the doctor’s office where she has scheduled her “mommy makeover”. You’re absolutely thrilled for her. You know how hard she works to keep her body in shape. You know because you’re right there with her, watching what you eat, going to the gym, and staying active. You acknowledge that motherhood takes it toll. Handling two young children while juggling the rest of her life isn’t easy. Sometimes she looks a little tired, her skin a little dull. She deserves to do this because you love your friend and you want her to feel comfortable with her body – to get that boost of confidence a makeover will offer her. Then you think, wait, I don’t have children. I work hard to stay fit and look fresh also, but I could really use a lift too! Yet, I’m not a mommy. So, Can I get a mommy makeover?
